Portrait of Jerry Turner:
I teach at the FHA, HKG and FHSO as part-time lecturer.
I specialise in Business English, cultural awareness and communication skills. I have held several seminars abroad on business ethics and cultural awareness.
In addition to my teaching commitments I am International Co-ordinator for the FH Aargau and responsible for Double Diploma curriculum development, student exchange under the Erasmus / Socrates syste within the EU and Lecturer visits to and from foreign universities.
I have a proven track record on British commerce and tourismn and am an associate member of the British Institute of Management. Academically as a graduate of the Cambridge university diploma in the teaching of English as a foreign language (TEFL), I am currently completing a post graduate course (MA) on linguistics and TEFL.
In addition to my mother tongue, English, I speak French, German and Swiss German. My personal interests comprise reading literature, walking, boating; lakes and rivers, as well as being an enthusiastic DIY fanatic.
