Born in South India in the state of Karnataka

University education in Bangalore, the present day silicon valley of India

Recipient of four university degrees - a degree in Science (Bangalore University), a bachelor and master's degrees is Metallurgical engineering (Indian Institute of Science), Doctorate in Metallurgical engineering (McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada)

Came to Switzerland in 1980. Married to a German physicist. Mother of two sons.

After more than 5 years of working as a research scientist in Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, turned efforts to teaching.

Specialisation: Teaching Mathematics and Statistics for business students. Also teaches the principles of Physical Metallurgy.

Taught at ETH Zürich, City University Zürich, European University Zug, ABB Technical School Baden. Joined FHSO Olten in October 1999.

Publications: 10 scientific papers, 3 reports, 6 on Hinduism, a book on Indian mythology - "Dasavatara, Die zehn Gestalten der indischen Gottes, Vischnu", Museum Rietberg Zürich and Pestallozianum Zürich , 1994-, Translation: "Paintings by Nainsukh of Guler" Eberhard Fischer und B.N.Goswamy, Museum Rietberg Zürich, 1999, and interviews and reports for Indian magazines and newspapers.
